2. What these terms cover
These terms govern the distance sale of the products offered on this website. They apply to every order placed through the site and, together with the order confirmation, form the entire agreement between XTEE and the buyer.
By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms in the version published at that moment. The terms may be updated: the version that applies to your purchase is always the one in force when you ordered, and the date at the top of this page tells you which that is.
If you buy as a consumer — that is, for purposes outside your trade or profession — you also have the protections of Italian consumer law (Legislative Decree 206/2005, the Codice del Consumo, which implements the EU consumer directives), including the right of withdrawal in section 7 and the legal guarantee in section 8. If you buy with a VAT number as a reseller or a company, the terms that apply to you are in section 12.
3. How the contract is formed
Placing an order on the site is an offer to buy. The contract is concluded when XTEE sends the order confirmation by e-mail. The automatic e-mail acknowledging receipt of the order is not yet an acceptance.
XTEE may decline an order, giving notice and refunding in full anything already paid, in the following cases: the product is no longer available; there is an obvious error in the price or the description; the delivery details are incomplete or inconsistent; or the order, by quantity and destination, does not appear to be for end use.
Keep the order confirmation: it is the document that proves what you bought and on what terms.
4. Prices, VAT and invoices
All prices are in euro and include Italian VAT. They do not include shipping, which is calculated and shown separately in the cart before payment.
The price that applies is the one shown in the final summary at the time of payment. Prices may change at any time, but a price change has no effect on an order already confirmed.
For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, taxes or clearance charges of the destination country may apply: these are payable by the recipient, are not included in the price, and we cannot calculate them in advance. No such charges apply to destinations inside the European Union.
A tax document is issued for every order as required by law. If you need an invoice addressed to a VAT-registered business, enter the complete tax details when you place the order: an invoice cannot be issued or amended afterwards.
5. Payment
We accept the payment methods shown on the checkout page, including PayPal, credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and bank transfer.
Card details never pass through our systems and are not stored by us: payment takes place on the platforms of the respective providers, under their own security protocols.
If you choose bank transfer, please use the order number as the payment reference. The order is prepared and shipped once the funds have been credited to our account, and the preparation times run from that moment. If the payment has not been credited within 10 days of the order, the order may be cancelled and the products released for other customers.
6. Shipping, delivery and returns
Costs, preparation and transit times, destinations and what to do if a parcel arrives damaged are all on the Shipping and Returns page, which forms part of these terms.
In short: free shipping within Italy on orders over €50, excluding bulky and heavy items such as bow presses; preparation normally within a couple of working days and in any case within five; delivery normally within 48 hours in Italy from the day after dispatch, and in 4 to 6 working days abroad. These are indicative times and are not essential terms of the contract.
7. Right of withdrawal: 14 days, for consumers
If you buy as a consumer you may change your mind and return the product without giving any reason. The mechanism set out in articles 52 and following of the Italian Consumer Code works in two stages:
- 14 days to tell us you are withdrawing, running from the day you, or someone you designated, physically received the product. The fourteenth day is included. If the order arrived in several shipments, the 14 days start from the last product received.
- A further 14 days to send the goods back, running from that notice.
To withdraw, an e-mail to info@xtee.it with your order number and the products you wish to return is enough. We will reply with the return address. No particular form is needed, but the notice must be in writing: keep a copy.
Who pays for the return
The cost of returning the goods is borne by the buyer, and the buyer chooses the carrier. We recommend a tracked service and adequate packaging: until the parcel reaches us, the risk of loss or damage remains yours.
The condition the goods must be in
The product must be returned complete with all its accessories, documentation and packaging, in the condition in which you received it. You may open it and examine it as you would in a shop: this does not forfeit your right of withdrawal. If, however, the product has been used beyond what was necessary to examine it, fitted, modified or damaged, the law allows us to deduct from the refund an amount corresponding to the diminished value; in that case we will explain in writing how we calculated it.
Refund
The refund covers the price of the product and the standard outbound shipping you paid, and is due within 14 days of your notice of withdrawal. As permitted by article 56(3) of the Italian Consumer Code, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods, or until you supply proof that you have sent them, whichever happens first. We use the same means of payment you used, unless we agree otherwise with you, and at no cost to you. If you chose a faster delivery than the standard one, the difference is not refundable.
When withdrawal does not apply
As provided by article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to measure or clearly personalised to your specifications — engraving, colours, lengths or custom configurations — because they cannot be put back on sale. Where this applies, it is stated on the product page before purchase and repeated in the order confirmation. Withdrawal also does not apply to purchases made with a VAT number by resellers and companies, covered in section 12.
8. Legal guarantee of conformity: 24 months
All products sold to a consumer carry the legal guarantee of conformity of 24 months from delivery, under articles 128 and following of the Italian Consumer Code. This is the minimum set by law: it cannot be reduced by contract, and XTEE adds no further commercial warranty. It is a different thing from withdrawal: it covers products that are faulty or not as described and ordered, not a change of mind.
What that means in practice:
- You do not have to report the fault within any set deadline in order to keep the right: the former two-month notification requirement was abolished in 2022. It is still sensible to tell us as soon as you notice, because it makes the facts easier to establish.
- If the fault appears within one year of delivery, it is presumed to have existed at delivery: you do not have to prove anything, it is for us to prove otherwise.
- You are entitled first to repair or replacement, at your choice and free of charge. Only where those remedies are impossible or disproportionately costly does it move to a price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund.
- The cost of returning a faulty product is borne by us: you do not pay carriage to enforce the guarantee.
- The claim is time-barred 26 months after delivery.
To make a claim, write to info@xtee.it describing the problem and attaching photographs or a short video: in most cases that is enough for us to understand it and tell you straight away how to proceed.
The guarantee covers defects in conformity, not damage caused by use. It therefore does not cover normal wear of consumable parts, damage from impact, dropping or misuse, damage from incorrect fitting or from modifications made to the product, or damage arising from use with incompatible equipment.
9. Availability and errors
Stock figures on the site are kept up to date but cannot be guaranteed in real time: a product may show as available and in fact be sold out. If that happens we will tell you at once, and you may choose to wait for restocking, swap the item, or be refunded in full.
Photographs are for illustration: colours and finishes may differ slightly from how they appear on screen, and there may be small variations between production batches. The technical specifications on the product page are what counts.
Where there is an obvious error in the price or the description, XTEE may decline the order as set out in section 3 and refund anything already paid.
10. Discount codes and promotions
Discount codes must be entered in the cart before completing payment: they cannot be applied to an order already confirmed. Unless stated otherwise, they cannot be combined with each other, cannot be exchanged for money, and have an expiry date. If an order paid with a discount code is returned, the refund equals the amount actually paid.
11. Use of the products and safety
Please read this section carefully, because it concerns your safety and the safety of people around you.
The products sold on this site are archery equipment and accessories intended for sporting use. They are not toys and they are not suitable for children. Some items — points, blades, tools, presses — carry a risk of cutting, crushing or sudden release of energy if used improperly.
- Purchase is restricted to persons of legal age. A minor may use the equipment only under the direct supervision of a responsible adult.
- Archery must be practised in suitable places, with proper backstops and safety distances, in compliance with range rules and local law.
- Fitting and adjusting components that work under load — cables, strings, presses, release mechanisms — must be carried out by a competent person with the correct equipment. If you are not sure, go to a technician or a pro shop.
- Always check that a product is compatible with your equipment before using it. If in doubt, write to us: we will tell you whether it fits.
- Inspect components before every session and replace anything worn or deformed.
XTEE is not liable for damage arising from improper use, from fitting carried out without the necessary skills, or from failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions or the safety rules of the place where you shoot. Responsibility for using the equipment correctly rests with the person using it.
12. Sales to resellers and companies
XTEE also sells to resellers, shops, sports clubs and associations. Where a purchase is made with a VAT number in the course of a business or profession, the buyer is not a consumer and therefore:
- the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply, because it is a protection reserved to consumers;
- the supply is governed by the Italian Civil Code rules on sale and not by the 24-month guarantee of conformity of the Consumer Code: defects must be notified within 8 days of discovery, as required by article 1495 of the Civil Code, and the claim is time-barred one year after delivery;
- complete tax details must be entered when the order is placed, because an invoice cannot be issued afterwards.

13. Trade marks, images and site content
The XTEE trade mark and the texts, photographs, technical drawings and graphics on this site belong to XTEE di Antonio Brunello or to their respective owners, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. They may not be copied, reproduced or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
Third-party trade marks that may be mentioned belong to their respective owners and are used only to indicate product compatibility.
14. Limits of liability
XTEE is liable for direct damage caused by its own fault in performing the contract, within the limits set by law. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or personal injury, nor any rights that the law gives a consumer as mandatory: any clause conflicting with those rights is treated as not written.
XTEE is not liable for interruptions of the site due to technical causes or force majeure.
15. Personal data
The data you give us for an order — name, address, contact details, tax details — are processed in order to perform the contract, issue tax documents, handle shipping, returns and support, and comply with legal obligations. They are not sold or passed to third parties for commercial purposes; they are shared only with those we need in order to fulfil the order, such as the carrier and the payment provider.

16. Governing law and disputes
Italian law applies to the contract. If you are a consumer resident in another EU country, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence.
If you are a consumer, the court of your place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction: that is a mandatory protection and these terms cannot move it. For disputes with business buyers, the Court of Venice, Italy, has exclusive jurisdiction.
Before going to court, you may attempt conciliation through the ADR bodies listed by the Italian Ministry of Enterprise (Ministero delle Imprese e del Made in Italy) or at the conciliation desk of the competent Chamber of Commerce. The European ODR platform is no longer available: it was decommissioned on 20 July 2025.
In any event, before starting any procedure, write to info@xtee.it: almost everything gets solved by talking about it.
17. Changes to these terms
XTEE may update these terms to reflect changes in the law or in the way we work. The version that applies to your purchase remains the one in force when you ordered, and the date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
